As a collective, I know that there’s a spectrum of beliefs when it comes to the vaccine.

I’m somewhere in the middle of “yes, let’s get it!” and “y’all ain’t about to get me with the okey-doke.”

Black folk are (understandably and rightfully) wary of any major, government-backed medical endeavors. I am one of those people.

However, my desire to travel freely and move past this moment in time might take precedent because, at the end of the day, no “weapon” formed against me shall prosper, okay?
